Austria

Austria I wanted Spring Break to be a chance to explore more of Europe. I scouted the internet for cheap flights in order for me to go. I found great deals - for Airbnb and flights - for me to stay out for an entire week! I decided to travel to Austria, somewhere I never thought of going. Paris - a place that I've been very anxious to travel to. Lastly, Barcelona - it was a cheap ticket to get to and get back to Florence. It was also one of my favorite places that I visited when I went to "Teatro Liceu" earlier in the month. At this point, my Italian was becoming better, and all I wanted to do was speak in Italian to everybody. I had no idea what there was for me to see in Austria, until I realized that Mozart, a very famous composer, lived in Austria! When I arrived to the airport in Vienna, I felt very comfortable, but I was very lost as to how to get to my Airbnb. Thankfully google was at my side. I eventually went up to a gentleman who was selling train tickets...

March 1, 2, 3 I couldn't believe. I was actually on my way to Barcelona, Spain. I have been curious as to how the Spaniards are for the longest time. My curiosity came from me speaking Spanish. This is the land where the origins of Spanish were, so I was extremely excited to travel. This was also an exciting weekend because I was going to watch Rodelinda, an opera by George Frideric Handel at "Gran Teatre del Liceu." I decided to go watch this opera because of a Cuban-American soprano, Lissette Oropresa, was going to perform and I love her voice so much. This was also my first time traveling by myself. I hopped on the train from Santa Maria Novella in Florence towards the Bologna train station. I didn't realize that when they say that there are fast trains, they were not kidding around! We were going 300 km/h which is about 200 mph! When I arrived at airport, I normally would go to check-in but I already had my boarding pass, so I just went inside the airport! After...
